Home made electrolyte drink

Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference. Out riding in the summer heat, or even just on a long day working in the studio, I’ve found that hydration isn’t just about drinking water, it’s about giving your body the minerals it needs to recover and keep going strong.

Electrolyte drinks don’t have to come from a packet. One of my favorite versions is made with lemons, bright, tangy, and full of life. Paired with good salt and just a touch of natural sweetness, it’s as refreshing as it is effective. No additives, no mystery powders, just whole ingredients you can trust.

Here’s how to make it:

  • 1½ cups water

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • ¼ teaspoon salt (Himalayan or Celtic)

  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup

Stir, shake, or whisk it together until dissolved.
Sip before, during, or after training, or whenever your body needs a gentle recharge.

A little ritual, a little sunshine, and a lot of support for your muscles and energy.
